I'm not sure why, but I tear up when I watch this short video. Not out of sadness, but out of something else. I think it is because it is an example of the common spirit that is in each one of us and you are watching it come alive. You've got to see it.

IDEAS FOR JOB SEEKERS
I was privileged to be a part of a talk radio program this morning which focused on ideas for job seekers in the current economy. If you are interested in some great tips, listen in at the following link. Coach Phyllis R. Neill was also a guest from www.shementor.com and had a lot of resources and valuable ideas to share. Also look for my free e-book download which can help anyone get started in a new challenge or goal at www.lynnzettler.com.

TED is now a favorite
I have just recently been introduced to TED presentations that are utterly unbelievable. They seem like what has only been portrayed in movies, but the abilities are actually available today. TED Conferences cover new ideas in Technology, Entertainment and Design. Here's a newsclip:
Each year since 1984 many of the world's top minds have come to a gorgeous Monterey Bay setting to discuss big ideas at TED, but the ideas are as varied and sweeping as the entirety of human existence. They often have a technological bent -- the Adobe computer programs Acrobat and Photoshop were first unveiled at TED. But speakers are just as likely to talk about architecture, astrophysics or genetics. Humanitarians regularly grace the stage, as did Bill Clinton last year when he sought to enlist members of the TED community to help build a nationwide health care system in Rwanda.
One thing is certain -- in its 24 years the conference has gone from a mere meeting of the minds to a phenomenon approaching cult status.
The Star-Ledger, Michael Reilly, March 9, 2008
I would love to go to one of these conferences. Here are two links to videos from TED. One talks about statistics of third world countries (exciting and amazingly presented) http://tinyurl.com/7dafs7 and the other is related to how pictures will be linked on the web, much like text is currently searched, which will enable us to see landscape and the insides of buildings, etc.-you've got to see this! http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/blaise_aguera_y_arcas_demos_photosynth.html

Maintaining your Resolutions
How's it going with those resolutions so far? If you are like me, I've kept most, trying to start a new routine, but missed a few here and there. That's normal. If we want to make long lasting change, we'll have to recommit on a daily basis.
One way I use to keep my focus in front of me is to write my 10 daily habits down in numerous places where I will see them over and over throughout the day. Because of that, I've remembered to take my daily vitamins each day so far in 2009. I currently am using a picture of a beach with my 10 habits printed over it so that I also have a beautiful picture to look at. Additionally, I printed out a new nightly schedule for myself and did the same thing. I have it posted in several places so I hold myself accountable for what I want to do at night instead of watching television. Works pretty good so far.
I would love to hear others ideas on keeping committed. Please share.
I met someone really incredible yesterday named April Morris. She has started an all natural cosmetics company that produces Thingloss----a lip gloss which plumps and contains an appetite suppressant. Check out expresseffects.com. I think I'm going to try it!
